Maximising Space with a Loft Conversion
Our clients in Letchworth were looking to make better use of the space in their home by converting their loft. With a growing family and a need for additional bedrooms, they were keen to explore their options and understand what was achievable within their budget. They approached us for help with planning, design, and managing the conversion from start to finish.

The Brief
The clients had a clear goal: to create two equally sized bedrooms and a shower room in their unused loft space. They also wanted to explore an alternative layout, transforming the loft into a master bedroom with an en-suite. In addition, they were considering changes to the ground floor, including either moving the kitchen to the existing sitting area (which would require removing a chimney breast) or reconfiguring the current kitchen to improve flow and usability.
The Solution
Using our 3D drawing software, we presented the clients with a range of layout options and realistic visualisations. This made it easier for them to picture how the space would look and feel. After reviewing the possibilities, they chose to proceed with the layout that added two new bedrooms and a shower room to the loft.
We handled the entire process from planning to project management. This included structural assessments to ensure feasibility, detailed design work, and making sure everything complied with building regulations. The work was carried out by our experienced team, ensuring a high-quality finish and minimal disruption to the rest of the house.

The Results
The finished loft conversion delivered exactly what the clients needed: two functional, equally sized bedrooms and a modern shower room. The transformation added significant living space to the home and increased its value. Most importantly, the clients were thrilled with the results, especially how the 3D visuals helped them make confident decisions early on.
The property now better suits the family’s lifestyle, giving them room to grow without the need to move.
