DAVID CASCARINO
DIRECTOR AND SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
David joined HET in 1993 and is responsible for the smooth running of every client project, from the initial conceptual and design stages right through to completion. David has an eye for detail and is dedicated to ensuring the team maintains the highest standards of service possible. David’s qualifications include BTEC in Architecture and Design as well as being a Member of the Association of Project Managers. Married with three children and two grandchildren, David lives near Ware in Hertfordshire. His hobbies include garden design, travel, swimming and following Formula One racing.
STEVE MACSWEENEY
DIRECTOR
Steve founded the company in 1989 and he oversees the company’s marketing, alongside keeping up to date on client projects, monitoring and customer satisfaction. Steve lives in Hitchin and is married with five grown up children. He enjoys travelling, most sports, cooking and observing fauna and flora in the local Hertfordshire countryside.
ANANDA HALE
DIRECTOR
Ananda has been involved with the Home Extension Team since 1998. Ananda provides a key role reviewing business operations and organising administrative functions. This enables the creative and technical team to focus on delivering first class client projects and excellent customer service. Outside work, Ananda enjoys pilates and fitness classes, improving her home and garden, and spending time with family and friends.
MICHELLE DUNBAR
DIRECTOR &
SENIOR PROJECT DESIGNER
Michelle joined the HET team in 2014 and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience. She thrives on a challenge and loves to help clients find unique solutions - often in ways they wouldn’t have considered or thought possible. Michelle is working on some fantastic new client projects which really demonstrate creative design at its best. Michelle runs the St Albans office.
HANNAH JORDAN
PROJECT DESIGNER
Hannah has a BA Hons degree in Interior Design from London Metropolitan University and a Certificate in Construction Management. She has worked in architecture and surveying since 2006. Hannah is a dedicated and enthusiastic designer who inspires clients to discover creative yet practical solutions to enable them to get the most out of their homes.
Hannah is married with two young children and enjoys nothing more than spending time with her family.
THERESA BUCKINGHAM
DIRECTOR &
SENIOR TECHNOLOGIST
Theresa is a senior architectural technologist and CIAT affiliate with over 30 years of extensive knowledge and experience at an international level. Theresa enjoys turning client visions into reality with a flair for both technical and practical solutions that are both innovative and creative. Theresa enjoys travelling, observing and capturing the Grand Designs of the world.
GEORGIA HAYES
PLANNING DESIGNER
Georgia has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Architecture and Design from University of Hertfordshire. She won a British Institute of Interior Design award in 2016. She has a special interest in planning design and thrives in helping clients achieve their dream home. Outside of work, Georgia enjoys horse riding, travelling, and spending time with family.
TOBY HEDGES
TECHNICAL DESIGNER
Toby is an Architectural Technologist BSc (Hons) who studied at Nottingham Trent University and produces the building regulation stage drawings for HET. He has high levels of experience with Revit and AutoCAD in addition to practical skills developed through a range of commercial and residential projects
LAUREN PAGE-MORRIN
ADMINISTRATOR
Lauren is responsible for the smooth running of operations, from initial client enquiries to supporting the Project team. Lauren has amassed a wealth of experience in customer service and all aspects of administration throughout her career. Lauren has lived in Hitchin her whole life and likes being part of a well-established business, in the town she loves. Out of work - she enjoys spending time with her son, family, friends and dog. Lauren also has a keen interest in wellbeing and likes to research and develop natural products.
LISA SIBLEY PA/ADMINISTRATOR
Lisa is a part time PA and administrator and joined HET in 2010. She enjoys the variety in her work and takes great pleasure in dealing with clients. She is married with two children and apart from spending her free time with her family, she also enjoys socialising, Zumba, travel and cooking.

SADE FINN
ST ALBANS ADMINISTRATOR
Sade is responsible for the running of day to day operations and supporting the Project Team in St Albans. She has grown up in St Albans and has a great sense of connection to her local community bringing a wealth of knowledge of the local community's needs and wants. Outside of work Sade enjoys graphic design, singing at different venues and meeting people from different cultures, religions and backgrounds. Sade has a very outgoing bubbly personality which makes her an ideal front of house face for the St Albans branch.
