When local musicians Chris and Anne moved to Hitchin, they knew they would want to convert the double garage into a dedicated music room.  We had managed the design and build of their loft conversion in their previous home, so they trusted us to do a good job with their new challenge. 

Chris plays the Saxophone and the Clarinet and Anne plays and teaches the Piano, so they needed space away from the house where they could play to their hearts content, and raise the roof without raising eyebrows.

Our brief was to convert the dusty garage into a bespoke music room.  The priority was to optimise the acoustics and ensure they had the space they both needed to rehearse and also teach. They were not disappointed.  The result has exceeded their expectations and we’re delighted to have been a part of this unique project.
